The Common Corridor

For decades, the Artist watched neighbors struggle to cross a dangerous expanse of asphalt. Frustrated by the situation, and in an act of Tactical Urbanism, he reclaimed the road from car traffic by painting directly onto the asphalt.

Located on the Eastern Continental Divide, this vibrant, multi-use path transforms a transit corridor into a community space. The Artist's work is a bold testament to the power of one citizen’s initiative, leading the way to make streets safer and more inclusive.
